High temperatures at Hogan Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hogan Lake sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.       Hogan Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Hogan Lake, and the summit of Clark Mountain can be distinguished from Hogan Lake. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Wadesboro is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Hogan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cheraw State Recreation Area is a delightful place for that. And that's not all you can do here at Hogan Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks                  from Rockingham here, and a lake nearby is W R Bonsal Tailings Reservoir. Hogan Lake regularly gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest.
