If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hodge Lake. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Scotts Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Hodge Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Moonshine Creek is a nice spot to camp. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Hodge Dam, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dillsboro, Nc is a fine place to spend a night or two. | | sufficient there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going for a hike on the Shortoff Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western River Escape Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little trip to Cane Creek since you're here at Hodge Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail. local ski area. Summertime highs at Hodge Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Hodge Lake tend to be in the 20's.
