Dawn Acres Golf Club is a golf course in close proximity to Hobbs Lake; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Dan River. If you get bored of Hobbs Lake, you could also visit close by Whitaker Lake, and don't forget to take a nice little visit to Rock Branch. We love sunset park. Rates are 15.00, and we bought firewood for 5.00 also. My boys went paddling on the paddle boat and swimming in the pond.
