There is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Hill Top Lake called the Moores Knob Trail. Hill Top Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Jomeokee Campground is a great local campground, and if you need a site to stay Hilton Garden Inn WinstonSalem/Hanes Mall is a fine choice. The Cooks Wall Trail is a nice       hiking trail near Hill Top Lake; a delightful close by hotel is SpringHill Suites Winston-Salem. Hill Top Lake Dam is a stunning spot in the vicinity of Hill Top Lake, and Hill Top Lake is not the only spot nearby, Shattalon Lake is a nearby lake. Summer at Hill Top Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight                  here at Hill Top Lake. Hill Top Lake is a wet spot that gets a great deal of precipitation; during March this area sees the most rain; November meanwhile is the driest month. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you came to camp Tanglewood Family Resort is a tremendous location to do that, and going for a hike on the Cascade Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Grandview Golf Club not far from Hill Top Lake; a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Yadkin River. This lake is so wonderful.
