Lake which is a lovely lake; what would a spot like Highlands Reservoir be without interesting nearby marks like Western Cliffs. The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a good site to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Three Forks Trail.
Having a fine time at Highlands Reservoir is trouble-free. Highlands Reservoir is near Cole Gap which is beyond doubt worth going to; why not a little side tour to Bad Branch. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Vanhook

Country Club Pool & Tennis is always a bliss, and Highlands Reservoir is right by the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail. So much entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just inspiring. Summertime at Highlands Reservoir
arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Highlands Reservoir dipping down into the 20's throughout
winter nights. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sky Valley is right next door to Highlands Reservoir; why not take a refreshing hike along the Shortoff Mountain Trail.
