Throughout the long summer days highs here at Highland Pond get into the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Highland Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Clearwater Lake Dam to pop by close to Highland Pond, and not far from       Highland Pond you'll hit upon Cedar Village Lake which is a stunning lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Highland Pond. Camping at Spring Hill Park is always a great experience, and if you need a place to stay Carolina Inn is a magnificent choice. For you golfers we recommend nearby The Preserve at Jordon Lake Golf Club, and Boothe Hill can be spotted from Highland Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Big Branch is a stream that you may                  encounter while here, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Durham for sure. Camping is available at Birchwood RV Park; after a long day outdoors Rizzo Conference Center is a great place to spend a night or two.
