A delightful place to camp here at High Shoals Lake is Tuckers Grove Campground, and camping is available at Cross Country Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by High Shoals Lake Dam if you're here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Catawba River - South Fork. High Shoals Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; April on the other       hand is the driest. While you're here at High Shoals Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Lincolnton, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Lincolnton is a delightful choice. Getting to Beaverdam Creek from High Shoals Lake is uncomplicated, and Comfort Inn Lincolnton is a delightful spot to get some rest.
