From High Meadows Lake you get a great vista of Bryants Knob, and a great close by hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Elkin Jonesville. Summertime highs at High Meadows Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at High Meadows Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Take       a hike on the Dogwood Trail, and do have a look at Lake Louise, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be. So many enjoyable things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just mind-boggling. Camping at New River Canoe Rentals is always a fine experience, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of New River. Man,                  is there heaps of enjoyable things to do right next door to High Meadows Lake. Roaring Gap is near High Meadows Lake and is without doubt a great location to pop by, and you can run the rapids of Mitchell River. There's some flowing water nearby, Laurel Branch is a stream you can pop by while you're here; if you came to camp Deer Creek Recreational Vehicle Resort is a pleasant location to do that. From a rain point of view High Meadows Lake is a pretty common place; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. High Meadows Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's close to High Meadows Lake, and if you need a place to stay Master Hosts - Alleghany Inn is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at High Meadows Lake, you could also visit gorgeous Camp Cheerio Lake, and a golf course close by is Greenstreet Mountain Golf Club. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
