Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. You're sure to encounter some good people from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir here, and High Lake Dam is not far at all from High Lake. This lake is so wonderful. High Lake is right by the Yancey Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so

A tremendous close by hotel is Comfort Inn Lenoir; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yadkin River. Summer brings highs in the 60's to High Lake.
