During the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Higgins Lake with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while Higgins Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Higgins Lake. Take a side tour to Beaver       Creek, and as expected, this is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes, Aydelette Lake is a lake around here. There are some great whitewater spots on Deep River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Causey Lake. Higgins Lake is a relatively wet place generally with lots of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain; April on the other hand is the driest. Summit Conference center is a great local campground,                  and if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Greensboro East / McLeansville is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Reedy Fork Creek offers some great whitewater, and this is a popular place for people from Greensboro-High Point. This lake is so wonderful.
