If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Hideaway Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Unicoi Mountain Trail, and don't leave Hideaway Mountain Lake without first going for a hike along the Unicoi Trail. Float down the rapids of Hiwassee River in a kayak, and camping is available at Lakewood Landing Campground. You completely ought to love the Great Smoky Mountains. Paddling on Turtletown Creek

Blue Ridge - Days Inn is a great choice. Nealy Gap is close to Hideaway Mountain Lake and is a pleasant place; Harris Top is delightful and can be seen from here. Hideaway Mountain Lake is a beautiful lake in the Great Smoky Mountains.
