The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Select Hickory-I-40, Nc, and close to Henry River Lake you locate a golf course called Henry River Golf Club. A pleasant site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Henry River Lake is Yadkin River; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a delightful choice. That right       there is plenty already, but it continues; Henry River Lake has it all. This lake is so wonderful. At Henry River Dam next to Henry River Lake there are some interesting things to see. There's so much to do here at Henry River Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Mountain Campground is a pleasant place for that. Henry River Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is                  January. And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a popular place for folks from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir, and if you came to camp Playmore Beach Campground is a good place to do that. At Henry River Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
