A magnificent nearby hotel is Days Inn And Suites, and nearby you discover the Yancey Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail. During the summertime months highs here at Henredon Lake reach the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while the       cold winter nights at Henredon Lake are in the 20's. While you're here at Henredon Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Forest City. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Henredon Lake called the Bald Mountain Trail, and Holiday Inn MORGANTON-I-40 is a tremendous place                  to get some rest. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Catawba River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Henredon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rose Creek Family Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Johns River for all you adrenaline kick people, and enjoy a round of golf at Silver Creek Plantation Golf Club Restaurant. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. It's a magnificent idea to pop by Clear Creek, it's in the vicinity of Henredon Lake; if you get bored of Henredon Lake you could also stop by nearby Lake James. Henredon Lake typically gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through March while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Appalachian Mountain while you're here.
