Get drenched paddling on Ararat River; you can stay the night at Holly Ridge Family Campground. Be careful coming to Hawks Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Mt. Airy Knights Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest, and a charming lake like Doggett Lake is a good place to stop at. Getting to Jackson Creek from Hawks Lake is uncomplicated, and Hawks Lake Dam is stunning. Summer brings highs in the       80's to Hawks Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Hawks Lake are in the 20's. A lot of rainfall falls at Hawks Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Hawks Lake, you can go for a hike along the Run Trail. One of the principal characteristics of the                  surroundings of Hawks Lake is Stott Knob; a perfect close by hotel is Quality Inn Mount Airy. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Beaver Creek Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Fisher River.
