High temperatures at Harwood Lakes throughout the long summer days are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Harwood Lakes are in the 20's. Very pleasant water scenery is available       at Harwood Lake Dam near Harwood Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHARLOTTE ARPT-BELMONT. After a long day outdoors Ramada Airport North Charlotte is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Gum Branch, and you'll probably meet some people from Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord here. Having a great time at Harwood Lakes is uncomplicated. Why not spend some time                  golfing at a close by golf course like Oak Hills Golf Course, and Tuckers Grove Campground is a great local campground.
