Why not stop by Hampton Lake if you're passing through these parts. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chattooga River. Hampton Lake is not the only site nearby, Lupton Lake is a nearby lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Whitewater River offers some pleasant whitewater. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Sapphire Valley Resort is a good site

From Hampton Lake you acquire a delightful view of Chimneytop Mountain, and do stop at Hampton Lake Dam since you're here. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a good time. a look at Laurel Creek. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Old Edwards Inn and Spa, and Hampton Lake is right by the Foothills Trail.
Hampton
Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to pop by near Hampton Lake is Cashiers Valley, and the skiing at Scaly Mountain is nice. Hampton Lake mostly gets a good deal of rain;
of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month.
Man, is there heaps of cool stuff to do next to Hampton Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Sloan Bridge
Campground, naturally you could also visit Fairfield Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. At Hampton Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the wintertime
the highs are frequently in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Hampton Lake temperatures drop to the 20's.
