Camping is available at Currituck Resort Shores, and the Jeep Trail offers hiking at its best. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at The Hammock. Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks-Corolla is a glorious spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Cattle Pen Point is in the neighborhood and always tremendous to visit, and a magnificent location is Gallop Shoal. If you came for       an overnight stay North River Campground is a magnificent spot to camp; after a long day outdoors The Sanderling Resort and Spa is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summer highs here at The Hammock get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at The Hammock. All the water falling down from the sky                  makes The Hammock a wet place; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is November.
