Camping is available at Spring Hill Park, and Hadley Millpond Dam is a picturesque site. At Hadleys Mill Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Hadleys Mill Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. There's just no way somebody can get bored here       at Hadleys Mill Pond. Hadleys Mill Pond gets a lot of water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is April. Lots of folks from Sanford come to Hadleys Mill Pond; Siler City Days Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest. Rocky River is a tremendous whitewater spot next to Hadleys Mill Pond, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear Creek.                  This lake is so wonderful.
