Guys Pond, Harnett County, North Carolina     User input for Guys Pond, Harnett County, North Carolina: : Guy's Pond is a great place to fish.  As of my latest fishing trip on 1/25/2009, it was $3 per person and $4 per night camping.  Also, 14 years of age and younger were free!  This is a great pond.  While you are fishing, you can watch the cows, and/or the horses.  The pond is much better than Pope's Lake.  They kicked us out of that lake on the same day as my trip to Guy's Pond.  I rate this pond as a 10 and suggest anyone in the area looking for a fishing hole should try Guy's Pond. There is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Guys Pond called the Group Camp Trail, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Youngs Pond is just a very short distance away. Near Guys Pond you come across the Little Creek Loop Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and why not camp at Dream Camps while you're here       at Guys Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Dunn here, and paddling on Upper Little River is so much fun. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. Get drenched paddling on Cape Fear; a golf course nearby is Hidden Valley Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express FUQUAY-VARINA is a perfect place to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight                  stay Champion Cheerleading Camps is a perfect place to camp. High temperatures at Guys Pond during the summer months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Guys Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. The annual rainfall here at Guys Pond is about average; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April is the month with the least moisture.
