     Not far from Gullers Lake, you'll locate Dobbs Lake Number One which is a picturesque lake, and lots of folks from Lincolnton come here. Camping is available at Kings Mountain State Park, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Catawba River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Woodland Park Campground while you're here at Gullers Lake; if you need a place to stay Affordable Suites Gastonia is a  
   nice choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Gullers Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Express Inn; Gullers Lake Dam is not far at all from Gullers Lake.
Gullers Lake generally gets lots of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. During the summer months here at Gullers Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally
 
               in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Gullers Lake.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Oakland Lake; getting to Blackwood Creek from Gullers Lake is easy.
