Get yourself into a kayak and hit Dan River; lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Pineview Lake. A perfect nearby hotel is Winston Salem-Days Inn North; you're sure to stumble upon some fine people from Winston-Salem here. For the duration of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Grubbs Lake, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, generally in the 60's. Throughout       the winter highs are generally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Grubbs Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Stonewall Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, and the Cooks Wall Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit to Fivemile Branch since you're here at Grubbs Lake; a wonderful lake like Dalton Pond is a great place to pop by. Camping is available                  at Tanglewood Family Resort, and close by you locate the Cascade Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Grubbs Lake. Holiday Inn Select Winston-Salem-Univ Pkwy, Nc is a pleasant site to get some rest, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Hanging Rock Trail. At Grubbs Lake Dam in the vicinity of Grubbs Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see; a good location to camp here at Grubbs Lake is Sunset Park Campground.
