There's some flowing water nearby, Big Beaver Island Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here, and a round of golf at nearby Dan Valley Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time. Summertime highs at Grogan Estate Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's; throughout summer       nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Grogan Estate Lake drop into the 20's. Not far from Grogan Estate Lake you get some splendid water scenery at Grogan Estate Lake Dam, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Cascade Trail. This place is excellent, just explore all the exciting things to do near Grogan Estate                  Lake. Do go to Upper Merchants Lake near Grogan Estate Lake, it's a scenic lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Humphrey's Ridge Camp is a great spot to camp. Paddling on Mayo River - North Fork is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. The Cooks Wall Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Grogan Estate Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Ridgeway Martinsville. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Martinsville here, and if you need a site to stay Greensboro-High Point Marriott Airport is a glorious choice. The high level of rainfall makes Grogan Estate Lake a relatively wet location; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and December meanwhile is the driest month.
