Whites Lake is a perfect lake right next door to Gregory Lake, and camping is available at Staunton River State Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gregory Lake a wet location; July is when you get the most rain here; April meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime       highs at Gregory Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's, and night lows at Gregory Lake during the wintertime commonly dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Bearskin Creek is a pretty stream that is worth a visit, and Flat River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Dry                  warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites Oxford, and Econo Lodge & Suites is a brilliant place to get some rest. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling right next door to Gregory Lake is Little Fishing Creek. Lakes?
