Quality Inn Mount Airy is a great place to get some rest, and since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Skyland Lakes Golf Club. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Greenhill Lake rules! Greenhill Lake is right by the Run Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay       Utt's Campground is a good place to camp. Much rain falls at Greenhill Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is so good! This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Doggett Lake is a lake nearby. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more cool things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater                  paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Reed Island Creek; why not explore close by School House Creek if you're here at Greenhill Lake. Why not camp at Fancy Gap Cabins & Camp Grnds since you're here at Greenhill Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Ararat River offers some great whitewater. If you need a place to stay Mt. Airy Knights Inn is a splendid choice, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Mount Airy. Through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Greenhill Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Greenhill Lake tend to be in the 20's.   Mt.
