For the period of the days of summer here at Granite Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Granite Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Salisbury, and Dunn Mountain is easy to spot from Granite Lake. Days Inn is a great spot to get       some rest, and a perfect spot to camp here at Granite Lake is Bass Lake Resort. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Granite Lake. People from Salisbury love to come to Granite Lake, and a round of golf at nearby McCanless Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time. There are other sites here than Granite Lake, for example Mirror Lakes, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Yadkin River. Lots of rain falls at Granite Lake; May is when you get the most rain here, and April is the month with the least moisture.
