Do stop by Gore Lake while you're in this part of North Carolina. Gore Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can take a little visit to Jump-Off Mountain Dam since you're here at Gore Lake; if you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Brevard is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Laurel Mountain Trail, and you're sure to bump into some friendly people from Asheville here.

All year is a magnificent time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you like the outdoors. There's splendid hiking along the Black Mountain Trail; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard,
Nc is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club; if you came for an overnight stay Blue Star Camps is a perfect spot to camp. Highpeak is a peak you can see from Gore Lake; camping is available at Little River Camping Resort.
