Gore Lake is a lake worth visiting. Blue Ridge Parkway is a very great location to stop at near Gore Lake, and great hiking is available along the Laurel Mountain Trail. Gore Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc is a good site to spend a night or two, and you can never get enough

This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Asheville here at Gore Lake, and Highpeak is stunning and can be spotted from here. Gore Lake is a pretty wet place frequently with a lot of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. So much exciting stuff to do at Gore Lake, so little time. A splendid location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to
Gore Lake is Little River; you can stay the night at Alpine woods RV Park. This place rocks, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the neighborhood of Gore Lake. Don't leave Gore Lake without first going for a hike along the Mullinax
Trail, and obviously Blythe Mill Creek flows through this neighborhood.
This lake is so wonderful. Jump-Off Mountain Dam is scenic and it's in the vicinity of Gore Lake, and Gore Lake is a good site to camp, Little River Camping
Resort is a good site. During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Gore Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Gore Lake
dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. There's splendid hiking along the Black Mountain Trail; a lake nearby is Banks Lake.
