The Mullinax Trail offers hiking at its best; of course, all our national parks are nice places to take a look at and Blue Ridge Parkway is no exception. High temperatures at Gore Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Gore Lake tend to be in the 20's. If only       every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. Some of the water nearby flows, like Blythe Mill Creek, and near Gore Lake you find a golf course called Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club. Lots of precipitation falls at Gore Lake; during March this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Black Mountain Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood                  you can always explore nearby Jump-Off Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Highpeak from Gore Lake. Lakes? Sure, Banks Lake is in close proximity. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's whitewater on Little River for all you adrenaline kick people, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Beech while you're here, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Brevard is a magnificent choice. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Gore Lake. A great place to camp here at Gore Lake is Blue Star Camps. And that's not everything you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's always Jump-Off Mountain Dam to have a look at close to Gore Lake, and the good folks of Asheville like to hang out nearby.
