All through the warm days of summer at Goose Pond highs are frequently in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Goose Pond sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Jeep       Trail. Lakes are wonderful; Sawyer Lake is a lake that's close to Goose Pond. A great nearby hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk, and some of the water close by flows, like Little Alligator River. The high level of rain makes Goose Pond a reasonably wet location; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while November is usually the driest month.
