Four Oaks Lodging and RV Resort is a good local campground, and you'll find a charming lake called Jernigan Pond. Godwins Lake mostly gets much rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Godwins Lake has it all. This lake is so wonderful. If       you need a place to stay Super 8 Dunn is a tremendous choice, and there's always Godwins Lake Dam to go to next to Godwins Lake. High temperatures at Godwins Lake during the summer months are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Godwins Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
