What a nice lake Glenville Lake is. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping at Glenville Lake is great fun, Lazy Acres is a great local campground, and a golf course nearby is King's Grant Golf Club. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Glenville Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's, and night lows at Glenville Lake through the wintertime

| | usually plunge into the 20's. Very splendid water scenery is available at Forrest Lake Dam next to Glenville Lake, and Glenville Lake is a brilliant site to camp, Fayetteville Koa is a brilliant site.

rain makes Glenville Lake a quite wet place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while November is mostly the driest month.
Not far from Glenville Lake, you'll hit upon Branson
Lake which is a lovely lake; a fine nearby hotel is Value Place Fayetteville BR. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little River, and swing by Blounts Creek it's a splendid spot to have a look at.
