The beauty of Girl Scout Lake attracts many people from all around. Girl Scout Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through August while January is mostly the driest month. A great close by hotel is Red Carpet Inn Lenoir, and Girl Scout Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Rider's Roost is a glorious place to camp nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.
