George Penergrass Lake gets a large amount of water; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is November. If you came to camp Lake Myers Family Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Jonesville/Elkin Area. This lake is so wonderful. Days Inn Yadkinville is a glorious       spot to get some rest, and George Penergrass Lake Dam is not far at all from George Penergrass Lake. Summertime highs at George Penergrass Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at George Penergrass Lake. Not far from George Penergrass Lake, you'll hit upon Dobbins Pond which is a scenic lake.
