There's some flowing water close by, Jones Swamp is a stream you can visit while here, and camping at Laurel Lakes Campground and Music Park is always a glorious experience. Gainey Millpond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Fayetteville Koa is a tremendous local campground, and a gorgeous lake like Maxwell Millpond is a splendid location to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Red Roof  
   Inn Fayetteville, Nc is a delightful place to get some rest, and do visit Tart Millpond, it's a pretty lake.
So many cool things near Gainey Millpond, definitely extraordinary. Gainey Millpond is a location with many visitors from Fayetteville. If you need a place to stay Fayetteville-Days Inn North/Wade/I-95/Exit 58 is a great choice; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Upper Little River. Gainey Millpond generally gets a large amount of rain;

Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
