There's some flowing water nearby, Jorden Branch is a stream you can go to during your stay, and why not camp at Summit Conference center while you're here at Fryar Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GREENSBORO-EAST is a great place to get some rest, and there are plenty of folks from Greensboro-High Point       here at Fryar Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, needless to say you could also go to Higgins Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. The high level of precipitation makes Fryar Lake a relatively wet place; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is April. Yeah, come here to Fryar Lake for a magnificent time. Whitewater paddling is good on Reedy Fork Creek, and if you've had enough of Fryar Lake, Causey Lake is                  nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Fryar Lake you hit upon a golf course called Cedarcrest Golf Course; camping is available at Greensboro Campground. High temperatures at Fryar Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's.
