Deep River
 | 19 miles away My wife and I decided to give this route a try, and we found that a couple of miles down river from the put-in site, there is a big dam that is at least 20 feet tall with no way around it. We ended up walking 2 miles back to the car to come pick up our kayaks. When we got home we looked at satellite pictures using google maps and it looks like there are 2 more dams before you would reach the take out site. I do NOT recommend this route. Paddlers beware!... |
