Tar River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Fraziers Pond, and there are brilliant spots to explore along the Bluff Loop Trail. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Fraziers Pond has it all. After a long day outdoors Guesthouse Rocky Mount is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and a quick spree to Gideon Swamp is without doubt a tremendous idea.       This lake is so wonderful. Enfield/Rocky Mount KOA is a glorious local campground; do go to Fraziers Pond Dam while you're here. Rocky Mount - Days Inn Goldrock/I-95 is a great place to get some rest; don't leave Fraziers Pond without first going for a hike along the Discovery Loop Trail. Why not camp at KOA Campgrounds if you're here at Fraziers Pond; there are plenty of people from Rocky Mount here. Fraziers Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through                  the month of August you get the most rain around here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Go for a hike on the Stream Loop Trail. During the warmest time of the year here at Fraziers Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's; the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 60's.
