This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Yadkin River offers some splendid whitewater. During the summertime at Fox Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Fox Lake tend to be in the 20's. One of the principal features of the       surroundings of Fox Lake is Bald Knob. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fox Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Hickory RV Resort. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fox Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Mountain Campground is a pleasant place for that; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like River Crest Golf Club. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Soar                  down the rapids of Elk Creek in a kayak; this is a popular place for folks from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir.
