If you need a place to stay Crestwood Suites - Greensboro-Airport is a splendid choice; there are some great whitewater spots on Reedy Fork Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Oak Hollow Campground is a pleasant location to camp, and folks from Greensboro-High Point love to come here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Dan River. Foster Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal

| | of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are other spots here than Foster Lake, for example Ski Lake, and the scenery at Foster Dam is lovely. Humphrey's Ridge Camp is a perfect campground nearby, and a round of golf at nearby Longview Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time. the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Foster Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. There's just no way anybody can get
bored here at Foster Lake. Lakes? Sure, Carlson Farms Lake is in close proximity, and dry warm beds await you at Greensboro-High Point Marriott Airport.

 | 19 miles away Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused.
Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ... |
