This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Oak Hollow Campground is a pleasant location to camp, and folks from Greensboro-High Point love to come here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Dan River. Foster Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal       of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are other spots here than Foster Lake, for example Ski Lake, and the scenery at Foster Dam is lovely. Humphrey's Ridge Camp is a perfect campground nearby, and a round of golf at nearby Longview Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time. High temperatures at Foster Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in                  the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Foster Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Foster Lake. Lakes?
