This is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes. Crystal Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and camping is available at Pine Lake Campground. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Forrest Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Forrest Lake throughout the winter typically descend into the 20's. Any time is a perfect time at Forrest

| | Lake if you like the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club is a good choice, and obviously Mill Creek flows through this vicinity. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Griffin Lake; Forrest Lake Dam is not far at all from Forrest Lake. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Pine Horse Golf Club is close by, and a tremendous place to camp here at Forrest Lake is Heritage Camping | |

and Recreation. Forrest Lake is a spot with many visitors from Sanford, and get dripping wet paddling on Little River. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deep River, and Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club is a nice
site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Forrest Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is April.
