     Forrest Lake is always a pleasure to visit. A pleasant close by hotel is Value Place Fayetteville BR, and Forrest Lake Dam has good water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lazy Acres; since you're here and you like golf, you can stop by King's Grant Golf Club. There are other locations here than Forrest Lake, for example Lake Walter, and if you need a spot to stay Quality Inn Ambassador is a great choice.
If you come at the right time
 
   of year, Little River offers some fine whitewater. There's so much to do here at Forrest Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fayetteville Koa is a glorious site for that. All the outdoors exciting stuff next to Forrest Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Lakes? Sure, Branson Lake is around here, and hey, Branson Creek is a glorious local stream. While you're here at Forrest Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Fayetteville.
The
 
               high level of precipitation makes Forrest Lake a reasonably wet site; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while November is frequently the driest month. Throughout the warm months highs here at Forrest Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's while Forrest Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....

McFadyen Lake
I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....
