High temperatures at Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Having a nice time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is painless. Jim       Gap is a great site to spend some time at, and if you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Blue Ridge Parkway is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and nearby you find the Mullinax Trail which is a great hiking trail. Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain; October meanwhile is the                  driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc is a brilliant place to get some rest, and there are glorious sites to discover along the Shut-In Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Asheville, and while you're here, you could also have a look at stunning Pierce Lake. Forge Mountain Grist Mill Dam is not far at all from Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake; there are plenty of people from Asheville here at Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Beech, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Little River. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Betty Branch is next to Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake and is always a pleasure to stop at, and Mountain Laurel Resort is a great local campground. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake. Going for a hike on the Laurel Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and an afternoon playing golf at Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club is always a pleasure. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
