What a nice lake Ford Lake is. So many exciting things to do at Ford Lake, so little time. While you're here at Ford Lake you can take a hike along the Art Loeb Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. There is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Ford Lake called the Mullinax Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Brevard. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc is a splendid choice; while you're here, you might as well check out Walnut Gap. The high level of precipitation makes Ford Lake a pretty wet place; most of the rain falls all through March, and January on the other hand is the driest. | |

Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is peerless! Looking for something next to Ford Lake? Lake Wanteska is in close proximity, and of course Adams Branch is a picturesque stream that is worth checking
out.
You're probably hooked on lakes, Rainbow Lake is one of those nearby, and you acquire a nice vista of Aiken Mountain from here. On a magnificent day at Ford Lake you can take a hike along the Black Mountain Trail. You'll
need more than a day to discover everything Ford Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gwynn Valley. Just can't get enough of Ford Lake. During your tour to Ford Lake you'll meet some folks from Brevard for sure, and if you come at the
right time of year, French Broad River - East Fork offers some magnificent whitewater.
The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Ford Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, our 100 Acre Woods - Primitive
Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend French Broad River - North Fork. During the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Ford Lake. Once
the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; night lows during the winter for Ford Lake tend to be in the 20's.
