In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Fontana Lake is one of them. Fontana Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rainfall; during March this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fontana Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cable Cove Campground, and there's whitewater on Yellow Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. So many entertaining things to do here at Fontana Lake, too pleasant to be true. There's so much to do here at Fontana Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fontana Village Resort is a fine location for that, and do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. scenery and it's near Fontana Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Long Hungry Ridge Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more entertaining things to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Visit Augerhole Branch
while you're here at Fontana Lake; at Fontana Lake you can observe Bee Cove Knob.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Russell Field Trail, and if you desire a little side trip, try Bee Cove. You can
run the rapids of Cheoah River in the vicinity of Fontana Lake, and a splendid close by hotel is Highland Manor Inn And Conference Center. Fontana Lake is a beautiful lake in the Great Smoky Mountains.
All through the summertime
months at Fontana Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows at Fontana Lake throughout the winter ordinarily dip into the 20's.
