This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Beaverdam Swamp, and good hiking is available along
the Discovery Loop Trail. Go for a hike on the Dam Site Loop Trail, and not far from Fishing Creek Millpond you obtain some tremendous water scenery at Fishing Creek Millpond Dam. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a
day to look at everything Fishing Creek Millpond has to offer, you can camp at Enfield/Rocky Mount KOA, and since you're here you can play some golf at Hickory Meadows Golf Course.
During the warmest time of the year here at Fishing
Creek Millpond, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Fishing Creek Millpond.
