     Fairfield Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Fairfield Lake. If the weather is great here at Fairfield Lake, you can go for a hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail, and not far from Fairfield Lake you obtain some great water scenery at Fairfield Lake Dam. Logan Creek is a perfect local stream. Lakes? Sure, Meadow Lake is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous  
   close by hotel is Sapphire Valley Resort; since you're here you can take a hike along the Foothills Trail.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Get covered with water paddling on Tuckasegee River, and Fairfield Falls is a delightful location to check out while you're at Fairfield Lake. The vista of Bald Rock Mountain from Fairfield Lake is charming, and Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a great place to get some rest. This lake is
 
               so wonderful. Near Fairfield Lake you find a golf course called Red Bird Golf Links; camping at Wolf Creek Overlook is always a perfect experience.
Fairfield Lake is a wet location that gets lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls through March while October is commonly the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. Very pretty scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Scaly Mountain; Fairfield Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Westridge is a great local campground. Fairfield Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Fairfield Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Fairfield Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Brevard here. Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Fairfield Lake. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's; night lows through the winter for Fairfield Lake tend to be in the 20's. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is bountiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
A great location near Fairfield Lake is Boneyard Gap, and whitewater paddling is great on Whitewater River.
