This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Evans Pond you'll meet some people from Dunn for sure. Evans Pond mostly gets lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Evans Pond Dam is not far at all from Evans Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Dream Camps is a brilliant place to camp.
If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cape Fear, and hiking along
the Little Creek Loop Trail is great fun. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Apex is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Adcock Pond is just a very short distance away.
This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Hidden Valley Golf Course not far from Evans Pond, and the West Loop Horse Trail offers hiking at its best.
