Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Wilson NC, and needless to say, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Wainwright Pond is a lake in the vicinity. Paddling on Tar River is so much fun. Lakes are wonderful; Woodards Pond is a lake that's right next door to Edmunson Pond. Buck Branch is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more enjoyable       stuff to do here at Edmunson Pond. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Wedgewood Public Golf Course is nearby, and Edmunson Pond Dam is a charming location. All the water falling down from the sky makes Edmunson Pond a wet spot; during August this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Wilson is a fine location to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Rock Ridge Campground.                  This lake is so wonderful. The fine people of Wilson like to hang out nearby, and camping at Kamper's Lodge Of America is always a great experience. Summertime highs at Edmunson Pond typically tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
