You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Echo Lake has to offer. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Hendersonville Country Club, and getting to Brightwater Branch from Echo Lake is uncomplicated. So much amusing stuff       to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. All our national parks are good places to go to, and Blue Ridge Parkway is no exception. Summertime highs at Echo Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Echo Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Echo Lake is not the only site close by, Rainbow Lake                  is a close by lake; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Mullinax Trail. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Hendersonville is a splendid location to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Alpine woods RV Park is a good spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Green River near Echo Lake, and Echo Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Big willow Campground is a glorious local campground. Big Hungry Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot in close proximity to Echo Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Shut-In Trail. A lake close by is Briar Lake; you'll perhaps meet some folks from Asheville here. This lake is so wonderful. A short tour to Crystal Spring is always worthwhile, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Side Hill Trail. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Echo Lake Dam is lovely and it's near Echo Lake, and The Waverly Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest. Echo Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Echo Lake really is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise.
