If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Dupont Lake. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Going for a hike on the Black Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. Dupont Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest. Ultimate Ride Campground is a delightful local campground, and the summit of Burnt Mountain can be seen from Dupont

For the period of the warm days of summer at Dupont Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dupont Lake plunge into the 20's. Club Golf; Dupont Lake is not the only place close by, Cascade Lake is a close by lake. There is a great hiking trail near Dupont Lake called the Mullinax Trail; there's some exciting stuff to see at Dupont Dam right next door to
Dupont Lake.
You absolutely ought to love Dupont Lake. Dupont Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Little River Camping Resort is a nice location to camp nearby, obviously you could also stop at Camp Burgess
Glen Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Don't leave Dupont Lake without first checking out The Nooks, and the friendly people of Brevard like to hang out
close by.
This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and Bridal Veil Falls is a tremendous local attraction. This lake is so wonderful.
If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Brevard is a nice choice, and as expected Briery Fork Creek is a charming stream that is worth taking a look at. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry
warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc, and you can go for a hike on the Laurel Mountain Trail.
