     A quick spree to Cedar Creek close to Dudley Pond is a great idea; you don’t have to go far from Dudley Pond to observe the water at Dudley Pond Dam. This lake is so wonderful. On a magnificent day you can check out Buckhorn Bay, a swamp near Dudley Pond, and there are other places here than Dudley Pond, for example Maxwell Millpond. You're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Fayetteville here; not far from Dudley Pond you'll discover Jessups Pond  
   which is a gorgeous lake. Days Inn Fayetteville-South/I-95 Exit 49 is a perfect location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Dudley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Acres is a good site for that.
Much precipitation falls at Dudley Pond; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October. Just can't get enough of Dudley Pond. If you need a spot to stay
 
               Fayetteville Red Roof Inn is a good choice, and if you came to camp Fayetteville Koa is a great place to do that.
At Dudley Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, generally in the 60's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Dudley Pond.

Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....

I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....
