You'll come across a beautiful lake called Camp Deer Lake near Dubose Lake. There's so much to do here at Dubose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Parkway Lane RV Park is a glorious site for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lake Powhatan Campground is a brilliant location to do that, and there's wonderful hiking along the Laurel Mountain Trail. These mountains rock, just explore       all the amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Ball Mountain is clearly visible from Dubose Lake, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites South is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Ridge Parkway is a very fine place to check out in close proximity to Dubose Lake, and at Dubose Lake you always meet someone from Asheville. For the duration of the months of summer at Dubose Lake highs are frequently                  in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Dubose Lake plunge into the 20's. Dubose Lake is a wet location that gets lots of rain; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Dubose Lake. While you're here at Dubose Lake you can play some golf at High Vista Country Club, and magnificent hiking is available along the Shut-In Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. Go for a hike on the Side Hill Trail; Ashley Branch is in the neighborhood of Dubose Lake and is always a delight to check out. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. A lovely lake like Lake Powhatan close to Dubose Lake is a great site to have a look at, and paddling on Swannanoa River is so much fun. Ball Gap is a great place to spend some time at, and Ski Beech is a very popular ski area close by. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Asheville Airport; French Broad River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by.
